We are partnering with a well known and well-capitalized private equity team who are looking to hire an Experienced Senior Associate to join their investment team in Los Angeles.

The firm operates a concentrated, control-oriented investment strategy and is known for its disciplined underwriting, hands-on ownership approach, and strong performance across market cycles. With a lean team structure , this role offers direct, day-to-day exposure to Partners and Founders , as well as meaningful ownership across the full investment lifecycle.

This is a compelling opportunity for an investor seeking greater responsibility, visibility, and long-term upside within a high-caliber private equity platform.

Role Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities across sourcing, diligence, and execution
  • Lead complex financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis
  • Drive diligence workstreams alongside management teams, advisors, and operating partners
  • Prepare and present investment materials to senior leadership and IC
  • Support portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, add-on acquisitions, and value creation plans
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the firms investment culture

Ideal Background

  • Prior experience in private equity (Senior Associate level already)
  • Strong foundation in financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution
  • Experience working on control-oriented transactions
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • Strong judgment, communication skills, and investor mindset
