Material Handler

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler with experience in operating a sitdown forklift. The role involves efficiently managing materials and ensuring quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Build skids or boxes for packing and shipping of all orders.
• Operate crosscut saw, miter saw, nail gun, staple gun, and banding equipment as needed.
• Follow packing and preservation policies and procedures.
• Perform quality inspections on orders to maintain 100% quality standards.
• Mark all shipments in accordance with procedures and requirements.
• Properly stencil shipping information as required.
• Provide maintenance and keep records of maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all company safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Participate in TQM and SPC meetings.

Work Environment :

The position operates during the 3rd shift from Monday to Thursday, 7 : 00 pm to 5 : 30 am, with opportunities for overtime. The facility is a 600 sq. ft. non-climate-controlled environment that can be loud, with panel and table saws, and forklifts in operation. The dress code requires jeans or work pants, steel toe boots or shoes, and a plain t-shirt.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, MO.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
