Assembling, wrapping, and sterilizing trays of instruments for surgical procedures. Adhering to standard precautions while working in decontamination and sterilization areas. Monitoring biological and chemical wash solutions to maintain high-quality standards. Sorting and organizing mismatched sets of instruments and ensuring they are promptly available for sterile processing customers. Maintaining inventory levels in the sterile processing department and operating room. Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Delivering compassionate and effective patient care through a focus on quality and professionalism. Creating a safe environment for staff and patients, in line with national patient safety initiatives.
MedPro Healthcare Staffing , a leading Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is excited to welcome skilled Sterile Processing Technicians to join our team on a contract basis with one of our prestigious healthcare clients.
Key Requirements :
- Sterile Processing Technician certification is required.
- Preferred experience : at least 18 months in a Sterile Processing Tech role, with a focus on acute / inpatient care settings.
- Current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association may also be required.
