A company is looking for a Claims Coverage Specialist who will provide legal research and support to the claims team regarding insurance policy coverages.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret insurance policies to advise on coverage and liability issues
Prepare written communications explaining coverage issues and assist with correspondence to stakeholders
Identify potential risks and recommend strategies to mitigate exposure
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor and admission to at least one state bar
Minimum of 3+ years in insurance claims, coverage analysis, or related legal work
Familiarity with insurance coverage principles and claims processes
Experience in auto or casualty insurance is a plus
Self-managed and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
