Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of cath lab experience and a LA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Position is in an acute care Cardiac Cath Lab setting

Two labs performing approximately 100 procedures per month

Day shift, Monday through Friday, 6 : 30 am to 3 : 00 pm

16 on-call days every 6 weeks, including 2 weekends

Procedures include pre and post care, radial access, scrubbing for hearts, pacemaker and ICD implants

Cannon system and MEDITECH - MAGIC 5.66 EMR are used, EPIC experience required

Patients include those with cardiac and peripheral vascular needs

Must be experienced with both cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures

Participation in an on-call rotation that includes evenings and weekends is required

A 75-mile radius rule applies for eligibility

Scrub experience is required for this role

Requirements

Active LA or compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac cath lab

Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required

Experience with pre and post care, radial access, and scrubbing for heart cases

Experience with pacemaker and ICD implants

EPIC charting experience required
