Job Title : Low Voltage Service / Installation Technician

Position Overview :

As a Low Voltage Service / Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing and programming our customized security, access control, data and / or fire alarm offerings.

Essential Position Functions :

• Effectively manages time on installations, staying on or below budgeted man-hours for each project.
• Effectively performs installations on multiple projects and provides weekly updates to the Supervisor and / or Account Manager.
• Works closely with scheduling coordinator to ensure projects are completed on or before assigned deadlines.
• Works with contractors and / or customers to identify any and all necessary change orders. Then presents this information to the Supervisor and / or Account Manager.
• Communicates effectively in visual, oral and written form.
• Demonstrates ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.
• Promotes collaboration, partnerships and positive long lasting relationships with customers.
• Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending improvements.
• Maintains customer confidence by keeping customer information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
• Continually enforces safety to the highest standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation Package :

Salary Range : $83,200 to $104,000 per year Depending on Qualifications
