Job Title : Lead Pavement Markings Technician

Job Type : Full-Time

Job Summary :

Were seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Pavement Markings Technician to supervise and work alongside field crews , ensuring pavement marking projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. This is a hands-on leadership role involving equipment operation, job site coordination, and crew development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and assist crews with pavement marking jobs
• Interpret project plans and organize jobsite execution
• Set up and tear down work zones following safety protocols
• Operate equipment such as paint trucks, forklifts, skid steers, and trailers
• Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and project contacts
• Complete daily reports and quantity tracking
• Provide on-site training to crew members
• Perform manual labor including raking, shoveling, and brooming

Requirements :

• Valid drivers license
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Able to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Mechanical and basic electrical knowledge

Preferred Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years in construction or traffic control / pavement marking
