Responsibilities Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center – Opening in 5!
When open in early 5, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than years, integrating clinical care with
existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery
system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community.
This full-service hospital will include beds (with the ability to expand to beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn
delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a -car garage and a helipad for emergency transport.
We are seeking a (Full Time)
Our ideal candidate will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching. Clinical Pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patients drug therapies and provide drug information. Clinical Pharmacist supervises and directs supportive staff in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy. A Clinical Pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy. In addition, the Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care services to include advising physicians on matters pertaining to drug usage and control within assigned hospital locations; participate in the development and delivery of continuing education programs for Pharmacy, Patient Care Services, Medical staff and students.

Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Current license to practice as a Pharmacist in the District of Columbia or eligible to obtain.
- Some travel may be required
