DCJS unarmed license Required!

Post Location :  Signal Of Hampton Roads

Schedule :  Full time and / or Part time (WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED)

Shift / s :  Overnights (Between 5 : 00pm-7 : 00am)

(Detailed shift start and end time will be discussed during the in-person interview)

Pay Rate :   $15.00 per hour

Requirements :

• DCJS unarmed license required
• Valid drivers license
• Able to read, speak, and write in English
• Always alert and ready
• Punctual and dependable
• Takes pride in their uniform and what it stands for
• Flexible with their schedule
• Ability to observe and dictate events seen and heard during routine patrols
• Can operate a smart phone efficiently
• Must be interested in a mobile driving position and be able to complete a predetermined patrol route

A Signal Patrol Officer role encompasses all dedicated requirements but varies from the below in duty specifically in a faster pace, time management and performing randomized but planned patrols of multiple sites throughout the shift. A Signal Dedicated Officer will conduct static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high value areas to ensure all required access points are properly secured and to ensure protection of property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to details and safety. All duties listed below are minimum requirements – additional duties listed in the site’s Post Orders are requirements as well.
