About The Position We are seeking a Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist for a 5-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland starting Nov 26, 2025. This opportunity involves 24-hour call coverage supporting pediatric cardiac catheterization services over the holiday period, with shifts running from 7am to 7am. Additional coverage dates may be available. Job Details Location : Maryland Start Date : Nov 26, 2025 LOA : 5 days Provider Type Needed : Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist Schedule : 24-hour shifts (7am-7am), Nov 26, 2025 through Dec 1, 2025 Responsibilities and Duties Provide emergency call coverage for pediatric interventional cardiology cases Support pediatric cardiac catheterization service Respond to emergencies requiring procedural intervention as needed Work collaboratively in the Cath Lab alongside a dedicated physician assistant, registered nurses, and cardiovascular technologists Oversee patient care for step-down beds and pediatric cardiac intensive care unit (PCICU) beds Additional Information Must hold a valid Maryland medical license Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Experience in pediatric interventional cardiology strongly preferred Locum will primarily support pediatric patients Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
