LPN / ED Tech - Night

Position Summary :

The LPN / ED Tech provides prescribed medical treatment and person care services to ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled persons in a hospital by performing assigned duties under the direction of a professional registered nurse. Our Night Shift staff receive support from a full-time House Supervisor.

Department : Emergency Department

Status : Full-Time (36 hours per week); Night Shift; 12-Hour Shifts; Weekend Rotation

Pay Range :

LPN : $20-$34 per hour

Tech : $15 - $25 per hour

Position Requirements :

• LPN : Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing; Current IL nursing license in good standing; Current CPR, ACLS, PALS & NRP; IV therapy certification;

Tech : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); experience in patient care related field; one of the following license or certification required : EMT (preferred), CNA, MA or Student Nurse; BLS or wiliness to obtain.
