This is a superb opportunity to join our CGI-Edmonton team providing leading information technology services to our clients. We are seeking Empower Support / Developers to work in our large enterprise environments.

This role can be performed at the CGI office in Columbia SC; Lafayette LA or Knoxville TN. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Provide L3 production support based enterprise applications.

Analyze and resolve complex technical issues escalated from L2 teams within defined SLAs.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement permanent fixes.

Develop test and deploy code fixes enhancements or configuration changes as required.

Monitor system performance logs and alerts to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.

Collaborate with development QA and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth releases and environment stability.

Participate in incident management change management and problem management processes.

Create and maintain knowledge base articles technical documentation and runbooks.

Support production deployments hotfixes and application upgrades during off-hours as required.

Continuously improve system reliability and efficiency through automation and optimization initiatives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

• . Proven experience in production support including incident management troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• . Experience with the mortgage banking industry
• . Experience working on Dark Matters LOS product Empower (code and configuration knowledge is MUST)
• . Hands-on experience with DevOps and monitoring tools such as Jenkins and Dynatrace.
• . Strong knowledge of later versions of MS SQL server technologies and ability to write complex SQL queries
• . Experience of API tools like SoapUI Postman Swagger is a plus
• . Superior analytical and problem-solving and resolution skills and ability to adapt quickly
• . Self-motivation and strong time management and organizational skills
• . Ability to tackle challenging work situations and to resolve conflicts in a positive manner

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62900.00 - $167200.00.
