Mammography Technologist

📍 Hollywood | Full-Time

About the Role

Ascendo is hiring a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms that support early detection of breast cancer. This role combines technical expertise with compassionate patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

What Youll Do

  • Perform screening & diagnostic mammograms (per ACR, FDA, MQSA standards)
  • Operate & maintain mammography equipment; perform QA / QC checks
  • Ensure accurate positioning & high-quality images
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures (stereotactic, ultrasound & MRI-guided biopsies)
  • Provide clear, empathetic communication & patient support
  • Maintain accurate documentation in PACS, RIS & EMR systems
  • Follow HIPAA, infection control & radiation safety protocols

What Were Looking For

  • ARRT (R) & (M) Mammography certification (or eligibility)
  • Associates / Bachelors in Radiologic Technology (or related)
  • 2+ years of mammography experience preferred
  • Proficiency in 3D Tomosynthesis & imaging systems (PACS, RIS, EMR)
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Current BLS certification
