Site Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for a Site Operations Engineer in Oklahoma City OK supporting our Department of Defense (DoD) customer as part of a highly talented highly motivated and high-performing part of the team you will support an exciting program and contribute to mission success for a variety of national security stakeholders .

This position will report to the Operations Program Manager and be responsible for sustainment and maintenance activities to ensure system reliability . You will also be responsible for helping manage and / or execute Communications Security (COMSEC) activities as needed to support program requirements. R esponsibilities :

• This is a full-time hands-on on-site support position in a government facility requiring the ability to provide first-level system and network support and problem resolution identification in support of a private cloud-based infrastructure
• You will work with Site Team Lead to execute tasks in support of the daily management of a cloud infrastructure hardware ensuring smooth operations maintenance and support . This may include workin g with local govt site processes for scheduling maintenance ingress / egress of hardware to the site supporting COMSEC and disposition of equipment as .
• You will support the Site Lead with any facilities requirements and other needs that may impact the cloud infrastructure or network
• You will assist in the collection of metrics for analysis briefings or other needs as directed by the Program Director or government customer
• You will serve as alternate liaison with the program manager and factory support personnel
• You will be required to be on call with shared responsibility for any contingent maintenance support to the datacenter infrastructure
• You may assist in the interview training and onboarding of all new site team members if applicable
• Power Data Center peripherals on / off (as instructed by Tier 2 or Tier 3)
• Responsible for development and maintenance of operational procedures tasks and processes related to level 1 operations and maintenance of the system

Target Salary Range

$86000 - $138000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
