Description :
The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing quality patient care in the operating room setting.
Applicants must have experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic specialties due to the nature of the patient population.
Travelers may be required to float to other like units.
Team collaboration with the surgical team is essential in delivering effective patient outcomes.
Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with interdisciplinary teams and patients.
Nurses must adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
This position requires the ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient-focused care.
Additional responsibilities may include the administration of medications and monitoring of patient vitals pre- and post-surgery.
