About The Role
Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Document Controller to join our team. The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and distributing project documentation in line with company and client requirements, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain a robust document control system for all project-related documentation.
Receive, review, and register project documents (drawings, specifications, contracts, correspondence, reports).
Ensure the correct formatting, numbering, and version control of all documents.
Distribute and track documents to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
Manage both electronic and hard copy filing systems to ensure easy retrieval.
Liaise with project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure up-to-date records are maintained.
Monitor the flow of documents between internal teams, clients, and contractors.
Maintain document logs and issue regular reports on document status and outstanding actions.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and ISO standards.
Support audits and provide documentation as required.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Document Controller, ideally within construction or consultancy.
Familiarity with EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems) such as Aconex, Asite, or similar platforms.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
