Locums Hematology / Oncology - Red Bluff, CA Assignment Dates - Start Date : June 16, 2025- Duration : 6+ months Coverage Need - Monday-Thursday, 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM with night call- 24-hour remote call coverage Friday-Sunday, phone only Position Details - Setting : Outpatient clinic with Infusion Center- Daily Patient Volume : 15-21 patients per day, with 10 patients seen by the MD, including 1-2 new patients per day- Duties : Diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of Hematology / Oncology patients- MD oversight for Oncology / Hematology clinic and Infusion Services, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, and therapeutic phlebotomy- Remote call only, no call back required- Support Staff : 1 clinic RN, 2 MAs, 2 front office clerks, 1 quality analyst / billing, 3 infusion RNs Submission Requirements - Active CA state license- Board Certified preferred, will consider Board Eligible - Clean history- Required Certifications : CA DEA, BLS, ACLS Skill Requirements - Specialization in Hematology / Oncology with outpatient care- Proficient in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, symptom management, and treatment planning- Comfortable with remote call with no physical callback needed- EMR Systems : iKnowmed for clinic, Cerner for Infusion Center
