As a leader in the aerospace industry, our client has a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Temporary Electrical Engineer in their Oxygen and PSU business located in Everett, WA.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Temporary Electrical Engineer plans, designs, and oversees the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical / electronic components, equipment, and systems. Furthermore, acts as a focal point / individual contributor with respect to electrical and electromagnetic compatibility compliance to industry / regulatory requirements and standards for airborne applications such as RTCA DO-160 or MIL-STD-461E.
Performs conventional, moderately complex engineering assignments that may involve component, equipment or product design, simulation, testing, and preparation of specifications, process studies, and / or research investigations. Instructions are provided on task specifications and design constraints. Close guidance on new design or applications is provided.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Applies standard engineering techniques involving only minor innovations of methodology to provide solutions to problems involving a limited number of variables.
- Performs low to medium complex circuit / wiring design activities and, subsequently, prepares appropriate validation and verification means.
- Supports product certification / qualification with subject matter knowledge and exercise professional judgment whilst supporting other business functions.
- Typically focuses on existing products or processes.
- Liaises with drafters, technicians, and others to contribute to project completion.
- Coordinates work with other engineers and operating groups to facilitate participation of various organizational units.
- Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university; and three-to-five years related professional experience and / or training; alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
