Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of complex construction projects from initial planning through final completion.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects through pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction
- Develop, update, and execute project work plans, adjusting as needed for scope or schedule changes
- Identify and allocate resources, assign responsibilities, and manage day-to-day operational activities
- Lead estimating and pricing efforts, including change orders and comprehensive cost estimates
- Review and approve project deliverables prior to client submission
- Enforce company methodologies, quality standards, and compliance protocols
- Prepare for reviews, quality assurance procedures, and maintain organized project documentation
- Develop efficient schedules and cost-effective plans for resource utilization
- Select, manage, and coordinate subcontractors and oversee their work
- Review architectural and engineering documents for adherence to plans, specs, and regulatory standards
- Oversee contracts, permits, and licenses
- Supervise Project Engineers and enforce safety and quality controls
- Identify and mitigate potential disputes, risks, or claims
- Monitor schedule adherence and project profitability; conduct regular status meetings
- Manage project accounting, budgets, and expenses
- Ensure strict compliance with budgetary, safety, and quality requirements
- Report project progress and recommended modifications to owners and architects
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction ScienceMinimum 5 years of progressive experience on complex construction projectsProven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and priorities under pressureDemonstrated experience in estimating and pricingStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work on-site / in-office; this role is not remoteAbility to traverse active construction sites, climb ladders or temporary stairs, conduct visual inspections, and perform regular site walks to ensure quality and safetyAbility to work in environments that may include noise, vibration, outdoor weather conditions, mechanical movement, and construction-related hazardsBenefits
