Mother Duck is a Four-Star Parent Aware childcare center where we are committed to delivering high quality childcare. We serve children between the ages of 6 weeks Pre-Kindergarten. We are currently looking to hire a full-time (Monday through Friday) Lead-Qualified Teacher for both our preschool and toddler classrooms.

What you will be doing :

Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the children, parents and staff within the company.

Follow daily schedules.

Write weekly newsletters with proper grammar and spelling.

Plan and implement weekly lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for the classroom as well as individual children.

Direct and lead a classroom with care, love and leadership.

Follow safety and health rules while always supervising children.

Assessing children and implementing conferences.

Requirements to make you successful :

Lead Teachers must have a minimum of a complete CDA or associates degree in education or related field. (BS or BA degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Eligible to work in the U.S.

Must be able to pass a background check

Must have (or be willing to obtain) CPR / 1st Aid certification and keep current throughout employment.

Must be willing to complete all required classes / trainings to stay teacher qualified for both DHS and Parent Aware.

Must be able to follow set schedules

Excellent communication skills with parents, staff, and children.

Must have a love and desire to work with children and have a warm and nurturing personality.

Must have strong organizational skills

Knowledge of childcare Rule 3 a plus!

Schedule :

Monday through Friday

9-hour shift (with a one-hour break)

Flexibility a must! The hours of operation are 7 : 00am-5 : 30pm.

No Evenings

No Weekends
