[job_card.job_description]Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)\n Location : Akron, Ohio (44307)\n Assignment Length : 13 weeks\n Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (OR)\n Shift : Days, 3x12-hour shifts per week (11 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PM)\n Weekly Hours : 36\n Start Date : January 30, 2026\n End Date : May 1, 2026\n Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract\n Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Operating Room RN experience (prior to travel assignments)\n Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (permanent or compact)\n Current BLS certification (must be active, no pending status)\n Circulating experience required\n One recent supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the OR specialty\n Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation\n COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n Must be able to work at least every other holiday during the assignment\n Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures\n Circulate and assist in diverse surgical cases, including thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute, pediatric PACU, and pediatric OR\n Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative healthcare team to provide high-quality clinical support\n Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures\n Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and required nursing assessments\n Demonstrate flexibility by working assigned shifts, including every other holiday\n
