Maintenance Technician

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to support our team at Sandoval Flats, a 216-unit apartment community located in Rio Rancho, NM. Initially, you will serve as a roving Maintenance Technician in the greater Rio Rancho area until the property becomes fully operational.

Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the property is well-maintained and visually appealing, significantly enhancing the living experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the property to identify and address any repair or replacement needs.
• Complete work requests related to common areas and individual apartment units.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance to maintain property standards.
• Assess and repair appliances as necessary.
• Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents.
• Participate in occasional on-call duties, with a trip stipend provided if called back after regular hours.
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment for all.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, as well as painting skills.
• Experience with HVAC and EPA certifications is preferred.
• CPO certification is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license and insurance may be required.
