Critical Care Nurse in Irvine, CA

Deliver critical care in a dynamic intensive care unit environment, utilizing your nursing expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU using established nursing processes.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition rapidly and accurately.
• Communicate clinical updates, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic results, to physicians.
• Lead patient and family education efforts while supporting nursing staff activities.
• Uphold patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for accurate documentation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in acute care, preferably critical care.
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system mandatory.
