[job_card.job_description]Leadership and direction Support and coaching on how to respond to customer and co-worker requests Excellent communication and a passion for working with people Opportunity to grow within the company and move into salaried management roles and beyond Execute the MIC (Manager-In-Charge) Success Routine and ensure responsibilities under People, Customers, and Service are completed Ensure all Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks for their assigned position(s) Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations Understand posted work schedules and report to work as scheduled—on time, in uniform, and ready to begin tasks; provide appropriate notice when unable to work Understand and use the approved timekeeping system, including accurately recording all hours worked Provide regular feedback to the RGM regarding Team Member performance Provide ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members Actively participate in the training of Team Members Handle conflicts constructively and work with the RGM to reach a resolution Assist with Profit and Loss management by following cash-control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor Fully participate in delivering a WOW experience to every guest This list is not all-inclusive of the expectations for our Shift Leaders. Education : Basic math and reading skills Experience : Must be 18 years old Must pass background check criteria and drug test Able to stock shelves and coolers Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry out trash containers, and place them in the outside bin Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and stooping during 90% of the shift Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
