Senior Tax Associate

We are currently hiring for a full-time on-site position : Senior Tax Associate.

This role typically includes individuals with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in tax return preparation. Senior Tax Associates work in our upstairs office and primarily prepare business income tax returns, including forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065; as well as some forms 1040 for high net worth individuals.

This role works alongside both senior staff and partners in analyzing financial information, preparing tax returns and tax planning, researching tax notices and tax matters, and resolving any issues or concerns our clients may have.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on-site at our office in VA Beach, VA (23462)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Tax preparation skills, minimum of 3 years
• CPA / EA or CPA / EA candidate
• Proficiency in accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Ability to multitask
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Experience with Ultratax, ProSystem Engagement, Quickbooks, and Excel a plus
