Emergency Medicine physician job in North Carolina : Find your balance in the Blue Ridge Mountains! TeamHealth is seeking a dedicated emergency medicine (EM) physician to join our team at Mission Hospital McDowell, a modern 30-bed facility in the scenic town of Marion, North Carolina. Just a short drive from Asheville, this opportunity offers the ideal mix of professional fulfillment and mountain lifestyle.

Position Overview

Annual Volume : 23,000 ED visits
Coverage : 24 hours / day, 8-hour physician shifts
Support : Daily APC coverage
Facility : 30-bed hospital with modern emergency department
Technology : Cerner EMR
Leadership : New, engaged EM physician leadership team
Optional Rotation : Opportunity to rotate through other Mission Health hospitals in Western North Carolina

Who We're Looking For

Board-certified / eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)

Strong clinical and decision-making skills

Great communicator who thrives in a collegial team environment

Comfortable in a community hospital setting
