Qualifications
Profile
We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our clinical faculty and serve as a clinician with our consultation / liaison service at Parkland Health. The position includes opportunities for direct clinical care, supervision of trainees of various disciplines, and participation in the department's academic mission. The specific clinical, educational, and research interests of the applicant and the needs of the department will determine the exact effort distribution of the selected faculty member.
Candidates must have an M.D. / D.O. and be board certified or board eligible in General Psychiatry. While Texas licensure is not required for consideration or selection, it is a pre-requisite for starting in the position. Previous consultation / liaison clinical experience, academic experience, and a strong track record of clinical teaching are a plus.
