Job Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform necessary treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document care as per company policy and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patient conditions.
- Assess and evaluate the needs and responses of patients to the care provided.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment to make informed patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).Valid NYS Registered Nurse license required.Candidates must have BLS and ACLS certifications.A minimum of 1-3 years clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings is necessary.Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.Knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques, demonstrating the ability to apply them effectively.Thank you for your interest in joining our team!
