We are currently seeking a Mainframe Vantage Programmer to join our team in Addison, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

This is a hybrid position so onsite minimum 3 days Tues / Wed / Thurs.

Role Responsibilities :

• Development of life insurance products on mainframe vantage applications.
• Study design, development and support of mission critical business applications using formal software engineering and project management methodologies.
• Perform System and Requirement Analysis, identifying strategies for application design for life Insurance products development on Mainframe Vantage.
• Performing Design and writing technical design documents, test plans and system interface documents.
• Develop code in (COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, Webservices CICS) technologies and testing based on the requirements which got from the clients upon the product / system enhancement.
• Perform code and design reviews to ensure that the deliverables adhere to the project guidelines and specifications.
• Provide SIT and UAT support and production roll outs.
• Technical design review for new life / Annuity Product development and enhancements and provide inputs.
• Architect design for system enhancements and application design on Vantage and Interfacing Applications.
• Coordinate with an offshore team on daily basis and help understand the business requirements and solutions.
