Grant Writer

Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Grant Writer on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area engineering consultant.

Duties : -Support our client in securing funding opportunities for infrastructure and public works projects in partnership with municipal clients. -The ideal candidate will be experienced in identifying local government grant opportunities-Preparing funding proposals-Collaborating with technical teams to develop grant applications that align with engineering and municipal objectives.

Requirements : -Bachelor's degree in English, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field.-2+ years of experience in grant writing or funding development, preferably in infrastructure, public works, or municipal services.-Strong understanding of civil engineering terminology, infrastructure project lifecycles, and government grant application processes (, DCNR, DOT, EPA, FEMA, USDA, etc.).-Excellent technical writing and research skills with attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.-Familiarity with public-sector funding sources, including federal and state grant programs relevant to municipalities.-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with grant databases and portals (, , , state-specific systems).-Ability to work in a team environment.
