The Reynolds and Reynolds Company is seeking an In-House Attorney to handle a wide variety of complex legal matters and projects with a primary focus in customer contracting. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented attorney to support a broad range of customer-facing contracting needs. Responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating customer agreements; coordinating complex strategies with outside counsel; advising on current legal matters and developments; and providing general legal support to the company’s sales and operations teams. The role is based at our Houston, Texas facility and requires up to 25% travel. Requirements : Doctor of Jurisprudence from an accredited law school. Prefer 3+ years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel in a corporate setting, preferably with a focus in contract negotiation and drafting. Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Exercise exceptional legal reasoning, analysis, and drafting abilities. Possess strong negotiating skills and reasoned judgment. Must be adaptive and able to work productively both independently and as a member of a team. Must be able to communicate effectively with executive and associate level employees both orally and in writing. Must be coachable and willing to learn.
