Controls Engineer | Kentwood, MI

Salary Range : $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI / SCADA systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Provide expert technical support for electrical, control, and instrumentation issues on the production floor.
• Manage and execute control system upgrade projects, including hardware and software integration.
• Create and maintain comprehensive control system documentation, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
• Participate in the commissioning and startup of new machinery and production lines.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for existing control systems and processes.
