WHO YOU ARE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Enjoys fixing things and has natural mechanical ability.
  • Able to follow instructions.

Excellent computer skills and able to write service orders by paying closeattentionto detail.

  • Must be self-motivated and the ability to organize daily routine.
  • Ability to read analyze and interpret manufacturer parts and mechanical owners manuals including hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Proven critical thinking skills in order to properly diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency while also completing work accurately safely and thoroughly.

    • A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Load and unload customer repair and rental equipment.
  • Accept customer equipment for repairs : fully document customer description of problem obtain complete contact information and ensure customer agrees to Live Oaks Terms & Conditions.
  • Pressure wash and prepare equipment for repair and / or rent.
  • Enter all service orders by reconciling work orders parts lists and labor logs.
  • Ensure all parts used in repair and / or service are accurately reported on the service order or equipment diagnosis form.
  • Prepare estimates based on Mechanic diagnosis of problem(s).
  • Process downpayments and remittances.
  • Handle equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Prepare and assemble new equipment for sale or display.
  • Assist Mechanic and Service Manager with daily responsibilities as required.
  • Coordinate and work with warehouse and sales department as required.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe shop and locker area.
  • Perform any other duties as may be required from time to time by the Service Manager.
