Right at Home Des Moines is seeking dependable, compassionate Home Health Aides to provide companion and personal cares to our clients living in the Des Moines Metro Area. Join a home health company with a new owner who values the work you do and be a part of our growth while providing quality home health care knowing you are helping people avoid hospitalizations and being placed in nursing homes!

Compensation and Benefits for a Home Health Aide :

  • Competitive Pay- $17-20 / hour depending on the type of client and work setting

    • Requirements of a Home Health Aide :

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Proof of Car Insurance
  • Pass Background Check
  • Ability to be reliable and dependable
  • Desire to care for older adults, keeping them safe and independent in their homes

    • Responsibilities of a Home Health Aide :

  • Provide personal cares- showers, dressing, assisted walking, transfers
  • Assist with feeding, medication reminders, meal planning
  • Provide delegated nursing tasks
  • Follow agency policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Provide companionship and engaging activities as appropriate
  • Provide transportation as needed
