Job Overview

The Equipment Painter performs a combination of tasks, including but not limited to prepping, using a hand palm sander, grinding, cleaning surfaces for paint, taping, spraying primer, painting with a pressure pot painting system, inspecting finished product, and moving objects in / out of paint booth.

Responsibilities

• Paint efficiently using a pressure pot painting system.
• Skillfully apply body filler, fiberglass, and other materials for body repair
• Sanding paint, filler, and rust areas to prepare the surface for primer.
• Masking or taping around glass, decals, and other areas on equipment that are not supposed to be painted.
• Cleaning the painting surface prior to painting and cleaning up overspray and other defects after painting
• Preparing items to be painted, by sanding, grinding, and disassembling items by hand.
• Work efficiently and safely while prepping and painting items outside and in the elements while properly maintain painting equipment.
• Ability (or willing to learn) to fill in as a sandblaster as needed.
• Assist other team members with their tasks as able.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
