Job Overview :

Seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse-for the Inpatient Programs and the Outpatient Ambulatory Endocrinology Service.

The primary purpose of the Endocrinology Practice Nurse position is to serve as an expert in the delivery of advanced nursing care to patients with endocrine disorders, especially patients with diabetes mellitus.

For the latter, the advanced practice nurse will also be a Certified Diabetic Educator CDE / CDCES (certified diabetes care and education specialist).

Qualifications : Required :

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of a Masters' Degree required
• RN License
• APN License
• Certified Nurse Practitioner by the Board of Nursing with prescriptive authority in the State of New Jersey (CDS and DEA)
• BLS
• Diabetes experience
