Job Summary
As a vital member of our surgical team, the Lead Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean and sterile environment for patient care. Your key responsibilities will include :
Prioritizing and organizing instruments and supplies based on daily surgical schedules.Decontaminating soiled equipment according to established protocols.Performing sterilization processes in adherence to manufacturer instructions.Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting findings, and addressing any issues promptly.Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure all necessary instruments are prepared and available.Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the central processing area.Conducting efficacy tests for disinfecting solutions regularly.Responding effectively in emergency situations.Qualifications
Preferred : Graduate of a Sterile Processing program.Preferred : Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.Leadership experience is preferred.Experience in an ambulatory surgery setting is advantageous.Be part of an organization that invests in your success!
