About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Quality Assurance to oversee the development, deployment, and adherence to quality standards for manufacturing and products. This pivotal role involves tracking, analytics, and process improvements related to internal manufacturing quality, distribution center inspections, and external quality. The successful candidate will also lead continuous improvement efforts, including the transition from QC to QA, and will be responsible for interacting with various internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls, working with manufacturing to enforce quality requirements, and collaborating with research and development during new product start-ups. Applicants for the Vice President, Quality Assurance position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' of quality management experience, with a strong background in lean manufacturing and plant transformation. Experience in food manufacturing is essential. The role requires expert knowledge of Six Sigma quality concepts and application, as well as familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading continuous improvement efforts, be adept at problem-solving, and have the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and certifications in lean, Six Sigma, and project management are desired. The candidate should be a self-starter, action-oriented, and possess strong leadership and change management skills.
