Systems Planning and Analysis is searching for an energetic individual that would like to help take us to the next level in our payroll processing. We are a fast-growing company and want an individual that is excited to learn from and support the Payroll Team in all timekeeping, labor, leave and payroll functions in Deltek Costpoint and Employee Central Payroll (ECP). Additional duties include processing labor corrections, ensuring multi-state compliance, audit benefit deductions, preparing GL account reconciliations, assisting with new hire employee orientations, and all year-end payroll functions. We are looking for the right individual who, as they grow with the company, will want to learn other aspects of the business as well.

Responsibilities include processing labor corrections in Costpoint, reconciling labor each payroll cycle, conducting monthly audits of benefit deductions, processing quarterly disability benefits, monitoring and maintaining timesheet floor checks, preparing affiliated GL account reconciliations, back up semi-monthly labor, leave and payroll processing, and assisting with W-2 year-end function and new hire employee orientation. This individual will also perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include U.S. citizenship, a bachelors degree (business or accounting), minimum 2 years payroll experience in a government contracting environment, 2 years of Costpoint experience. Detailed oriented with strong organizational, analytical thinking and computer skills (Excel). Working knowledge of accounting concepts and ability to create journal entries and reconciliations. Experience with Employee Central Payroll desired. Must work under general supervision and follow standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
