If you're looking for a hands-on role that can grow into a lasting career, this position is an excellent starting point. As a Paratransit Quality Control Specialist, you'll help keep our fleet fueled, clean, and safeensuring our vehicles are ready to serve the community every day.
This entry-level position provides exposure to a professional maintenance shop environment, allowing you to gain real-world experience, build relationships with mechanics and shop leadership, and open doors to future opportunities such as Mechanic, Maintenance Supervisor, or Paratransit Driver.
What You'll Do
- Fuel & Fluids : Fuel all paratransit vehicles and service trucks; check and top off fluid levels (oil, coolant, transmission, washer fluid, etc.)
- Vehicle Quality : Inspect vehicles for damage during fueling, check tire pressure, and report issues to the shop
- Cleanliness : Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet fleet standards
- Fleet & Facility Support : Reposition vehicles in the yard to support dispatch operations; assist with minor maintenance tasks such as seat repairs, lamp replacements, or mirror adjustments
- Parts & Records : Maintain accurate fuel logs, inventory records, and variance reports
- Safety & Compliance : Follow all PPE, environmental, and safety protocols, including spill response procedures
- Facility Care : Support yard organization, building upkeep, and seasonal outdoor maintenance
Who You Are
At least 21 years of ageValid driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years)High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-orientedComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsAble to bend, kneel, and stand for long periodsFlexible to work weekends, holidays, or extended hours as neededInterested in learning and growing within the transportation or automotive industrySubject to DOT drug testing and physical.
