Diagnostic Radiography Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiography technologist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Diagnostic Radiography technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, applying principles of radiation protection, and delivering quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Imaging Procedures :
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including portables and operating room procedures, while adhering to established protocols and standards of practice.
Radiation Protection :
Apply principles of radiation protection to ensure patient safety and minimize exposure to ionizing radiation.
Patient Care :
Provide high-quality patient care, including preparing patients for exams, positioning patients correctly, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Quality Control :
Evaluate imaging studies for technical quality and take corrective action as needed to ensure optimal image quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Education :
Graduate of an accredited program in Diagnostic Radiography or related field.
Credentials :
Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure in the state of practice.
Experience :
Minimum one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiography, with preference given to candidates with trauma center experience.
