Highway Maintenance Technician

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Technician to conduct a variety of Highway Maintenance Services as well as other related tasks under close supervision. We are seeking a qualified applicant that will train in Highway / Roadway Routine Maintenance.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mowing and clearing brush from roadsides.
• Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter / debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.
• Use hand tools such as shovels rakes brooms etc.
• Use power tools such as chainsaws pole saws weed eaters backpack blowers etc.
