Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Assistant Occupational Therapist, you will provide designated occupational therapy-related services as outlined in the patient's plan of care, all under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Every day you will deliver care and service to a diverse patient population, ranging from acutely ill to rehabilitating individuals across neonatal through geriatric age groups.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a profound understanding of the functional and / or developmental age of each individual served, ensuring the provision of compassionate and effective therapy that supports their unique needs and promotes their recovery and well-being.

• Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
• Identifies self by name and title to patient / family.
• Determines presence / type of Advanced Directive.
• Reports suspected cases of abuse / neglect, if identified.
• Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.
• Establishes presence of consent prior to treatment / procedures.
