What will you do? Make an impact!

Join a team that keeps essential landfill operations running safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for skilled heavy-equipment operators who take pride in operating machinery with care, supporting daily site operations, and working outdoors in a hands-on environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and participate in safety training and inspections
• Operate heavy-duty equipment such as motor graders, bulldozers, compactors, loaders, excavators, backhoes, and trucks
• Perform routine landfill operations, maintenance tasks, and general civil construction work
• Prepare and maintain work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and safety reports
• Ensure all activities comply with environmental laws, regulations, and company policies
• Collaborate with team members and management to maintain efficient operations and identify process improvements
• Other duties as assigned

Do you have what it takes?

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of landfill operations experience highly preferred
• Experience operating heavy equipment (bulldozers, compactors, loaders, excavators, backhoes, trucks)
• Knowledge of equipment operations, maintenance, and service
• Trade school training in heavy equipment or trucking is a plus
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
• Ability to work the required shift
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
