What You’ll Do:

• Lead tax engagements for businesses and individuals, ensuring compliance and strategic tax planning.
• Provide expert guidance on tax strategies, regulations, and opportunities for clients.
• Review and oversee tax returns, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentor and train junior tax staff, fostering professional development within the team.
• Stay up to date with evolving tax laws and regulations to provide proactive client solutions.
• Meet productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours).

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Required – Must hold an active CPA license.
• Experience – Minimum of 3-5 years in public accounting, with a focus on tax consulting.
• Technical Expertise – Deep understanding of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and compliance.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to identify tax-saving opportunities and develop innovative strategies.
• Strong Communication & Leadership – Adept at managing client relationships and mentoring staff.
• Tech-Savvy – Proficiency in tax preparation software and financial systems (Ultra Tax experience a bonus).
