Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Anesthesiologists to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi. Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards. The department of Anesthesiology has up to 6000 cases per year and 2000 deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Determines and prescribes kinds of anesthetics and procedures to be employed in various categories of cases
• Advises Anesthetists and Surgeons in cases where age or condition of patient presents unusual or complex problems
• Recommends suitable anesthesia, advises on dosages and consults on post-operative complications
• Reviews case histories and is responsible for all matters pertaining to Anesthesiology
• Attends clinical conferences
• Performs related work as required
• Calls are paid extra per hour and are about 4 to 5 per month in house
• Daily resident coverage is about 1 : 1. OB coverage is 1 attending 1 CRNA 24 / 7. OR call is with residents or CRNA

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $390,000

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated between $568,500

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

The annual base salary listed complies with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The annual base salary listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits. Actual total compensation depends on many factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, and historical collections.
