Schedule Details :

Self-Scheduled

Shift : 3rd Shift (7 PM - 7 : 30 AM)

FTE : 0.9 (12-hour shifts)

Work 2 Mondays & 2 Fridays every 6-week schedule

1 Weekend and 2 Holidays (1 Summer & 1 Winter) per schedule cycle

RNs will receive training in ACLS, NIH, IV Ultrasound, and get cross-trained to be Charge RNs

What You'll Experience :

As a Float Pool Registered Nurse, you'll be engaged in diverse units such as ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support. Each shift offers unique challenges and the opportunity to enhance your clinical skills.

Float between various units while delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Quickly adapt to different unit workflows without compromising clinical excellence.

What We're Looking For :

Experience : Minimum of 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred).

Flexibility : Available to meet specific requirements every 6 weeks including Fridays, Mondays, and one weekend.

Training & Skills :

RNs will be trained in :

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIHSS (Stroke Scale)

IV Ultrasound

Charge Nurse cross-training for leadership development.

Your role will include providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care, utilizing the nursing process, and creating a safe and therapeutic environment. Be prepared to assess patient needs, implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure patient-centered care.

Implementing strategies to enhance patient safety.

Facilitating discharge planning.

Participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Demonstrating effective communication and conflict resolution skills.

Licenses & Certifications :

Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Desired Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Nursing program.

1 year of clinical nursing experience is typically required.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional relationships.
