Join our dedicated team in the Cardio Pulmonary Surgery department as a Clinical Nurse II. We are looking for compassionate nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment, providing exceptional care to our patients and support to their families.

Position Details :

  • Department / Unit : Cardio Pulmonary Surgery - D2N
  • Work Shift : Night Shift (United States of America)
  • Salary Range : $83,200.00 - $93,184.00

Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, and document treatment in accordance with policies and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to understand patients' conditions.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
  • Utilize critical nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Provide emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, including over-the-counter and prescription drugs.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop personalized Plans of Care for patients.
  • Guide and supervise ancillary staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.

    • Qualifications :

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
  • 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Understanding of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply problem-solving techniques effectively.
