• Greet and register patients
• Check patient eligibility and secure necessary pre-admission approvals
• Clearly explain hospital policies, admission processes, room options, co-payments, and available services
• Prepare admission folders, obtain patient signatures on consent / legal forms, issue ID bands, coordinate bed assignments, and notify clinical units of patient arrival
• Collaborate with staff

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

Strong data entry skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including handling stressful situations with tact and empathy

Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance / billing procedures, patient rights, and regulatory standards

Work Environment :

Onsite

PM shift (start at either 3 : 00 PM or 6 : 30 PM – flexible)

Working in the Admissions department

This is a Contract position based out of Napa, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00 / hr.
