Active and unrestricted license to practice as a California nurse Practitioner. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an FNP, preferably in primary care or a similar setting. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and record-keeping. Commitment to providing high-quality, culturally sensitive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Willingness to reside in or relocate to the Northern California area.

Job Description :
MLR is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our client's healthcare team at a hospital in Northern California. As an FNP, you will play a vital role in providing primary care services to individuals and families in our community, making you a crucial part of the team.
Responsibilities for a Family Nurse Practitioner :
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.
- Ordered and interpreted diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate, adhering to state regulations and hospital protocols.
- Provide patient education on preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including specialists, to ensure holistic, integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to developing clinical protocols and guidelines.
- Stay current with advances in healthcare practices and regulations through continuing education and professional development activities.
